In certain circumstances, users' firewall rules may prevent proper monitoring by CloudMonix.

This can happen in the following circumstances:

  • Any direct resource monitoring, when CloudMonix monitoring services connect directly to a resource behind a firewall (either SQL Azure, Warehouse, ElasticPool, SQL Server, Oracle, MySql, etc)
  • CloudMonix installed agents connecting OUT to CloudMonix
